What is your "role" in your family?

"The brainy one"  I have quite a big family and was first to attend university, although I never quite go to the end.  People in my family usually look to me to write letters, CV's, call official people and deal generally with things they find a little intimidating.  I have no doubt that this is a generational role, My nephews are 3 and 1 so I forsee holding the title for quite some time. :o)

Hi All

I am jointly hosting a coffee morning at my work on the 26th of October (ALL PROCEEDS TO BREAST CANCER RESEARCH) and I am on the scrounge for any prizes that you may be able to donate (preferebly from your work, I don't want anyone to spend anything!) to help with the raffle we will be running alongside.

If you think you can help me out.  Please do say so!  You can email me at khubbard@gmail.com if you cant find me elsewhere.

Vouchers... goods or days out (if you're lucky enough to work somewhere like a theme park)

Many Thanks in advance!!

Die Hard 4

Corny, unbelievable, tongue-in-cheek but thoroughly entertaining.  I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.  I simply LOVED this film.  I am a fan of the Die Hard dynasty anyway and this was certainly no let down.

John McClane was his usual self, Bruce Willis delivers this roll brilliantly.  You know he has a back-story, but you don't particularly care :o)   Its just the good old, unbelievably rip-roarin action we have come to expect really.

This installment sees a cyber-terrorist attempting to bring armageddon-style chaos to the USA and as always, Brucie saves the day while delivering one-liner quips and taking a massive amount of physical bashing :P  As always... there was a girl that needed saving *groan* and this time it was his daughter.  I think this is a plot string that the film could do without to be honest and i'm hoping that they won't resort to that if they make a Die Hard 5.

Anyway, I enjoyed, would give it a 7/10

Go see :o)
